Do I need a fishing License? No. All licenses are provided by the boat.
What is an exclusive charter? A charter for your party only, up to 6 passengers on the boat.

10 minutes drive south from the airport, 10 minutes drive north of Kailua-Kona town.
How long does it take to get to the fishing grounds?
By the time you get your suntan lotion on, you will be fishing, just minutes from the Harbor entrance.

The boat is located on the south side of the harbor in slip H-7, near the first restroom. Look for the "Strong Persuader" sign behind the boat.
What should I bring? Bring a hat, sunscreen (SPF 30), food and drink, (refrigeration on board).
What should I tip?
Customarily tip as you would for a waiter or waitress. 20% of the charter fee for excellent service for both the Captain and Crew.
Can I keep my fish?
Normally billfish are released, but if you want to keep some fish for the BBQ, please arrange it with Captain Shane ahead of time so that he can plan to have it set aside for you at the end of the day.
